Product Description

Millions the world over have heard Billy Graham's evangelistic messages.

Now hear his heart ...

America's pastor has gone home. But his lifelong message, his passion for the gospel, and his compassion for people still echo in Hear My Heart. This intimate work, a compilation of articles that spans Billy's ministry from 1955 to 2014, invites you to sit down with Billy and hear in his own unvarnished words the things that moved his heart regarding relevant issues of the day. The Biblical convictions he abided by. The reasons and regrets behind some of his decisions. And the wisdom he gained in his century on this earth.

Hear My Heart also presents stirring tributes, collected over many years, about Billy and his legacy from those who knew him best in all the seasons of his life--including his family members, his friends, and his co-laborers in ministry. Though their lives may have changed, Billy's impact remains the same, and their words are beautifully preserved in essays that reflect the power of his ministry. This book was assembled and printed to be released upon his passing so that his final words would bring comfort and peace to the many lives he touched.

This is his legacy--the personal exhortations he left our generation and those yet to come.

About the Author

Billy Graham

Billy Graham

The late evangelist Billy Graham preached the Gospel to more people in live audiences than anyone else in history and reached hundreds of millions more through television, video, film, and webcasts.

Born November 7, 1918, Billy Graham was raised on a dairy farm in Charlotte, NC. In the fall of 1934, he made a personal commitment to Christ through the ministry of Mordecai Ham, a traveling evangelist. Ordained in 1939, Billy attended Florida Bible Institute (now Trinity College in Florida). In 1943 he graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois and married fellow student Ruth McCue Bell. After graduating from college, he pastored the First Baptist Church in Western Springs, Illinois before joining Youth for Christ.

In 1950, he founded the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). Of the books he has authored, many have become top sellers. Billy has received numerous recognitions, awards, and honorary doctorates. In December 2001 he was presented with an honorary knighthood, Honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE), for his international contribution to civic and religious life over 60 years.

On February 21, 2018, at the venerable age of ninety-nine, Billy Graham went home to be with the Lord. He is succeeded by his three daughters, two sons, many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
